Our Story

A Proper Local, Worth the Drive.

The Ferryboat Inn has sat at the edge of Hayling Island for as long as most people can remember. We've taken that heritage seriously — keeping everything that made it special and building something new around it.

Under Bramley Pub Co, we've invested properly in the kitchen, the cellar, and the team. The result is a proper gastro pub: seasonal menus driven by Hampshire and coastal suppliers, a drinks list with real thought behind it, and service that feels genuine rather than scripted.

“The kind of place where the food surprises you, the welcome keeps you coming back, and you lose an afternoon without noticing.”

Seasonal & Local

Food & Drink

Our menus are built around the seasons — what's growing, what's been landed, and what's at its best right now. We work closely with local farms, fishermen, and producers across Hampshire and the South Coast, so the food on your plate is a true reflection of the season and the landscape around us.

The menus below are a sample — dishes and availability change regularly. Our team will always walk you through today's specials, which are built around whatever has come in fresh that morning.
